We’re back in the house. Well… somebody else’s house this time!
A month or so ago we headed over to Riverhead Coffee, celebrating 10 years of a much-loved Grimsby and Cleethorpes institution and a truly vital third space in the community. There was so much happening and so many people popping in and out to say hello, what a space!
We met up during their 10th birthday celebrations and settled into some very comfortable sofas upstairs to talk about what places like this really mean. The feeling of arriving and spending time somewhere familiar in your community. The quiet importance of a space that has stood the test of time and continues to show up for its people.
Whether it’s culture or coffee, these are the places that hold communities together. They offer warmth, connection and a sense of belonging that can’t be replicated. We loved taking the time to reflect on that, and to celebrate a place that does it so well.
Congratulations, Riverhead Coffee. Here’s to the next ten years 💛
