Welcome to our very first Tiny Sofa Interviews and Session, filmed in the cosy surroundings of our venue, The Living Room.

For the first part of this series, Becky sat down with Healer, getting ready for their Shop Local headline slot, to talk festival performances, artist advice, some marketing tips, and a fair few laughs along the way.

We have collaborated with Shop Local Festival to interview their two main headliners of the weekend. Tickets are available now, 29 & 30 August.

Supporting local talent has always been at the heart of what we do at The Culture House. For years we’ve championed artists from across North East Lincolnshire, creating opportunities for them to perform, connect and grow. From our intimate live music at The Living Room, to our Music Meetups that bring musicians together with industry professionals, to hosting local talent on our Picnic in the Park stage, we’re really passionate about the quality of local talent.
We’re proud to work alongside the team behind Shop Local Festival, a grassroots festival that shares our belief in celebrating and investing in local music. Together, we’re shining a spotlight on some of the region’s most exciting artists.
So, it felt like the perfect time to launch something new. Welcome to our very first Tiny Sofa Interviews, filmed in the cosy surroundings of The Living Room. First up, Becky sat down with Healer, getting ready for their Shop Local headline slot, to talk festival performances, artist advice, some marketing tips, and a fair few laughs along the way.
Don’t forget to grab your tickets for Shop Local festival on 29 & 30 August

The session features Steve and Joel from HEALER! They are a five-piece alternative indie-rock band known for their huge, anthemic guitar sound and powerful live shows.

Supporting local talent at every level is so close to our hearts, so to collab with Shop Local on this is so exciting. Thanks also to producer Eddi Pickard for making the session sound so excellent.
