More about Harry Fowler
While studying on the jazz course at the Leeds Conservatoire, Harry founded and fronted Leeds cinematic jazz fusion project Têtes de Pois. Featuring collaborative writing, live improvisation and instrumental compositions, the band incorporated eclectic global rhythmic influences and features from vocalists around the country.

Winners of the Peter Whittingham Help Musicians Development Grant and Love Supreme Players Award, the group received national radio support / media attention in this period and played at festivals including Green Man, We Out Here and Love Supreme.

In 2018, Harry met Ghanaian musician Kweku Sackey (frontman of the band K.O.G), and they have collaborated since. At this time Têtes de Pois embarked on the first UK tour, an extensive self-booked and self-promoted 18 dates across Autumn, to celebrate the release of the self-released debut EP, Framework.

During lockdown K.O.G recorded the album Zone 6 Agege, on French label Heavenly Sweetness which achieved good UK radio play and won a Ghana Music Award. The band has toured across 3 continents.

In 2024, K.O.G released Don’t Take My Soul. This led to a feature on Later… with Jools Holland and a UK tour including a sell-out show at EartH Hackney.

Harry has worked as a freelance live bookings agent and in 2024 he joined forces with established Bristol booking agency Diplomats Of Sound.

Diplomats Of Sound is a grassroots organisation, where Harry oversees jazz and related music. The agency’s sister company Chai Wallahs produces events and manages a stage which appears at several well-known UK festivals. Harry is currently proud to be working on an Arts Council funded project, Conn3ct, which will launch the careers of 3 early-stage female artists simultaneously on one stage across the UK. He also represents a number of brilliant live projects playing jazz, soul and international acts.
